How we verify
company information.

VERA connects useful company information to public evidence. Export Atlas shows what we found, when we checked it and what still needs clarification.

  • Checks apply to specific facts.
  • Original sources stay visible.
  • Unresolved questions stay open.

What we check

We start by connecting the business name to its stated legal entity, official domain and operating locations. Names alone are insufficient when addresses or activities conflict.

Government registration

We compare the stated entity with accessible Indonesian business-register records, including AHU.

A matched entry supports the recorded identity. It does not establish current good standing, ownership, licensing or payment reliability.

Certificates

Issuer and scheme records help check a named holder, certificate status, dates and scope.

The result applies to that record on the observation date. It does not certify every product or shipment; scope and annotations matter.

Identity & location

Official company materials and available records describe names, contacts and operating locations.

An office, a factory and a workshop network have different meanings. Company-reported locations are distinguished from corroborated information and address discrepancies.

Public reporting

News, institutional records, trade events, hiring notices and company announcements add business context.

We retain attribution and distinguish announcements, allegations, documented outcomes and responses. Coverage is not a reputation or sentiment grade.

What the results mean

Every company has four categories. Select a result to see its findings, sources, dates and limits. The categories do not combine into a company score.

A specific record matched
A government or issuer record was observed and matched. The blue–purple check identifies that finding on the recorded date; it does not mean government endorsement or blanket product certification.
Needs clarification
An amber result marks a documented discrepancy, such as conflicting addresses. Read the evidence and confirm the detail with the business.
Reported or corroborated
Neutral labels explain whether details are company-reported, an identity is corroborated, or a particular kind of public coverage was found. Historical reports stay historical.
Unresolved or not checked
  • Access unavailable: the available route could not support a usable check.
  • Not checked: no completed check is recorded.
  • Status unverified: related material exists but does not establish current validity.

None of these labels means a business failed verification or is unregistered.

Inspect the evidence

Follow a source link in a profile to its supporting note. The note identifies the publisher, observation date, relevant passage and limitations, with a link to the original.

Illustrative reading example · not a company finding

A registry entry matched

Finding
The stated legal identity matches the inspected record.
Checked date
The date the researcher observed the record.
Limit
A name match does not establish current licensing or order reliability.
Source
The original register and the relevant record location.

Publication dates, event dates and check dates describe different things. Historical studies and trade events stay historical; a search snippet alone is not a confirmed fact.

Review, independence and updates

  1. Gather and compare sources

Company materials describe the offer. Available original records and attributed reporting add evidence. Conflicts remain visible.

  2. Review before publication

Draft research is separate from published content. Public profiles require approved claims, explicit editorial review and an identified reviewer. Material conflicts can hold a record back; a daily research target never overrides review.

  3. Revisit the record when evidence changes

New documents and corrections can change a finding. Substantive revisions carry an actual update date. We review the source and retain relevant context.

Commercial participation does not buy a favourable finding.

Positive activity includes supporting context. Material concerns retain attribution, relevant responses and resolution. Records appear alphabetically, without an overall trust or sentiment score.

Send a sourced correction

Before you place an order

Use the record to prepare a better conversation. Confirm the details that matter to your transaction directly with the supplier.

  • Match the business issuing your quotation, invoice and bank details.
  • Check current certificate scope, samples, references and inspection arrangements.
  • Agree current commercial terms, payment milestones and shipping responsibilities.

Coverage is focused and public sources are incomplete. A profile does not guarantee order fulfilment or transaction suitability.
