Cinnamon names need a species as well as a product form. Kew distinguishes Ceylon cinnamon (Cinnamomum verum) from Indonesian cinnamon (Cinnamomum burmannii). Confirm the botanical name for the quoted product. Kew species reference ↗

What should I specify for cinnamon sticks?

Sticks are a whole-bark presentation. Nekaboga’s recorded Indonesian cassia catalogue lists 4 cm and 8 cm options, showing why “sticks” alone is an incomplete size specification.
